It Takes a Village

The Block Association is at its best when operating with a bit of sweat equity from many a neighbor. We see this with each effort, each event; and we've seen it across the decades. And it's not just about neighbors in each apartment building or brownstone. Businesses and restaurants turn out to support the newsletter and block party. And the BA benefits from nearby institutions as well.
This is a hat tip to neighbor St. Luke's staff and residents, our W. 102nd Street neighbors who house our monthly meetings, add festivity to our Halloween Party, and help us turn out the block party in ways unseen but never unappreciated.
